Take-off

Ideal site for H&F or soaring in the afternoon valley breeze. Convenient for combining with a visit of Sacra S. Michele, which can be reached by a footpath from S.AMbrogio (600m vertical gain), via Ferrata, or simply by car.

Access and parking

There are 3 options: 1) by footpath from Saint Ambroggio on stone-paved path. It takes 600 vertical meters from the village. Once arrived at the main parking, take the aphalted road which goes down, and follow the gravel path on the right.

Local weather notes

Minimum cloudbase required: 840m. Flying with the valley breeze or calm conditions is ok. Avoid flying the site when there is a strong wind from west.
