Takeoff is just below on the north-western side of the peak (the cross) of Moncuni hill.
Fields below, southwest from Moncuni hill top, behind the road. Do not land on cultivated land, long grass or fields with livestock. Beware of some cables and low voltage power lines crossing the fields.
Go to village of Reano either through Avilgiana and trana (SP589) or Rosta (reachable from SS25). If driving from Trana, drive through the village of Reano until a kind of one way street system which makes a circle in the village center.
Do not fly with foen winds. Beware that entering valle Susa in summer afternoons means facing its strong walley breeze winds (can be over 50kmh)
Do not fly over the small lake of Avigliana, it is a nature sanctuary and flights over there are theoretically not allowed. Beware of high ultralight and general aviation aircraft activity in the area.
Forecasts are planning aids, not safety clearance. Check current observations, official airspace and NOTAM information, local rules and your own experience before every flight.
