There are two takeoffs: high and low. 1) High takeoff. Nice and huge take off place at the feet of local mountain chain 'Quinzeina' . Only one warning, be careful of the pylons of electric line near the take off. 2) 'Belice': lower takeoff - used when the high takeoff is unreachable (winter) or inside the clouds. It is next to the small church Belice, not big but smooth and grassy field at 1000m altitude. Coordinates: 45.418305ºN, 7.641971ºE. It can be easily reached by car via a paved road.
The LZ is like an air field - long and wide; windsocks available
From Turin - take road to Cuorgne (via Rivarolo). The landing is next to the road (on the left) entering the valley. For takeoffs - see maps or use a navigator. Is the same that cavallaria place, both sites are in a ray of 30 Km so you can play a good cross if you like, so you can fly in all season Don't fly with strong westerlies and northerlies. And better to stay out of valleys Orco and Soana - strong winds, rotors, lack of emergency landing sites etc.
