Monte Soglio is a mountain site in the Italian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 1,954 m. It works best in south-easterly and southerly winds, and can also work in easterly and south-westerly winds. Pilots fly it for thermal, using foot launch.

On the peak of Monte Soglio (1971 m). The peak is a big smooth grass-field which makes the takeoff very easy. If flying in evening, make sure you launch before the wind changes direction from the back (west).

From Corio follow the indications to Pian di Audi (follow the gravel road Via Piano Audi until the end or the no trespassing sign). From the 1200m mark the last 700m you can trek in less than 2 hours.
Strong NW and foen winds. o not fly with them. Rotors are present just below the summit.
Do not fly more than few km away on the plains towards east, you will end up in CTR of Caaselle International Airport. Glider traffic is oftern present in the area.
