About this flying site

True alpine flight with all the consequences. Very sensible to weather. Can be very strong in early summer and can be very good in autumn when other flying sites don't offer anything more than a glide.

Take-off

At 1770m altitude on the northern slope of the valley over the village of Vonzo. Pretty big and smooth takeoff field suitable for beginners, tandems and hang gliders. Multiple gliders can be easily opened at the same time.

Landing

Rather big field right west from the village of Chialamberto (800m west from center of the town). It is opposite side of the river from the main road, accessible by a small bridge.

Access and parking

From Turin to Chialamberto by car: Get to the Tangenziale and take exit either toward Valli di Lanzo or Caselle airport. Either road will lead you to Lanzo valley.
