Launch is the grassy area in between car park and cliff edge

Top landing : is the same area as launch Bottom landing : Whilst there is usually some beach below launch this is not always the case as you fly further north towards Sunderland Bottom landing at 54.850598, -1.341883.

Access and parking

Getting there: From A19 south take the first Seaham exit B1404 follow this road down to the coast Public car park on cliff top next to Tonia's cafe

Hazards and cautions

  • As with all coastal flying keep an eye on the tide
  • if top landing out, beware certain parts of the cliff top can be affected by rotor
  • beware of spectators when launching and landing
