Take-off

Is from a steep edge. Choose a section facing into wind.

Landing

Bottom: There is always some beach except in very high tides, but is difficult to drive down to the beach so carrying up the footpath is best. Top: In front of the fence requires a crosswind approach and can be turbulent due to ROTOR.

Access and parking

There are several alternatives. The commonest area is shown on the map. Turn off the A1086 at Blackhall Colliery, drive down Tenth Street and through the industrial estate. Carry along the footpath about 200m.
