Ratitovec is a mountain site in the Slovenian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 1,638 m. It works best in southerly, south-westerly and westerly winds, and can also work in easterly and south-easterly winds. Pilots fly it for thermal, using foot launch.

Just find your place near the refuge. For takeoff with East wind, go 300m East of the refuge.
An official landing is near Zelezniki town.
Well, in every case you will have to walk... From Prtovc village, you will have to walk 1h, if you walk quick carrying your wing.
With East wind, condition are often rough
East from takeoff and around Zelezniki flight is authorized under 1000ft AGL #300m (6000ft during competition), and west from takeoff, flight flight is authorized under 9500ft (#2900m)
