Take-off

1min walk below the Plan Praz cableway station. Take off towards the tower.

Landing

So called 'green area' down in the valley, with the green circles and asphalted running way around it.

Access and parking

Getting to takeoff: Take cableway from Aosta (behind the railway station), and get off at Plan Praz station (2nd intermediate station). The takeoff is just 50m towards the valley on the western side of cables when you get off.

Local weather notes

No flying with strong northerlies and foen winds. Extrelemly turbulent and dangerous. Do not fly in the central valley in summer months' afternoons - the valley breeze is likely to be too strong for paraglidier.

Flight rules

Landing site is on the limit of Aosta airport ATZ. DO not fly east from the imaginary line connecting takeoff and landing.
