About this flying site

One of the highest gliding possibilities in the area. In spring the conditions are very strong, but end of summer and beginning of autumn is perfect. In winter usually too much snow to get there.

Take-off

Few meters from the refuge La Riposa big and smooth grass field. Lots of takeoff possibilities all around.

Landing

The same as Ciamberlando. The Chianocco landing is also within a reach of glide.

Access and parking

1) By car. Take the motorway or state highway to SUSA. Get to the main train station. Turn high behind it and follow the adjacent street towards East until seeing indications to 'Rocciamelone'.
