1) At colle de Finestre. Any place around is OK. The best to takeoff on the north from parking (from the road of the footpath) 2) any suitable place a little walk up from the plain
Any suitable place on the plain. Avoid landing close to the livestock. Please consider that landing is in the park territory, and only Peter Pan flying school has a official agreement to use the main plain for landing.
Just 2 ways to get there. 1) From Pinerolo take the road towards Sestriete, then approx 2km after Fenestrelle take directions towards Usseaux and then Colle di Fenestrelle.
Do not fly with foen or northerly winds. Extremly dangerous. Always check the wether forecast before and pay attention to pressure difference between France and Italy.
Usual flight rules apply.
Forecasts are planning aids, not safety clearance. Check current observations, official airspace and NOTAM information, local rules and your own experience before every flight.
