la Guardia (Recoaro- Vicenza) is a mountain site in the Italian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 1,130 m. It works best in easterly, south-easterly, southerly, south-westerly and westerly winds, and can also work in northerly, north-easterly and north-westerly winds. Pilots fly it for thermal, using foot launch.

most often used TO in the valley. La Guardia: 45:43.000N 011:10.629 E alt.1130 m facing south. From Recoaro city center town road to Campogrosso then stop at restaurant La Guardia
The town is Recoaro Terme: 1hour and a half by car from Venice, little more than 1h from Bassano, the same from Verona and more or less from Trento or the Garda Lake. By train to Vicenza and then another hour by bus to Recoaro.
Norh wind can be dangerous and prevent flying when strong; when light possibly good flying conditions.
