Vault Bay is a hill site in Cornwall with a recorded launch elevation of 102 m. It works best in south-easterly winds. Pilots fly it for ridge soaring, using foot launch.

Beware of turbulence from the trees and hedges in front of the west launch. Rigging Notes: Keep the landing area clear. Keep the air in front of launch clear. Marshalling: Use common sense and consideration for others.
Top Landing Notes: Try to avoid Landing outsite the designated areas. DO NOT land in any field where livestock may be disturbed. Beware of rotor downwind of hedges and wind shear where fields slope away downwind.
Where possible KHPA sites are open to all BHPA flying members; a few are members (or accompanied guests) only. Pilot level: CP.
Hazards: Wind shear at the back of the landing area. Keep speed on and aim to land near the brow. Restricted Areas: Avoid all fields outside the site boundary, except where indicated land.
