It is the historical take-off of Sainte-Victoire. When thermals are there, it is mainly used to go XC to 50km flatlands distance then continue into Alps. Flights more than 150kms are already done from this take-off !

Sainte-Victoire - Pic des Mouches is a mountain site in the French Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 990 m. It works best in southerly winds, and can also work in south-easterly and south-westerly winds. Pilots fly it for thermal, using foot launch.

It is natural take-off with rocks. Not recommended for beginners !
The official Landing is located at the restaurant of Saint-Ser. Another possibility is to land at Puits d'Auzon or in many place but be carefull with crops.
The only way: WALK ! 2 possiblities: From South face or from the North Face. Will detail is later. Look at the website for the moment.

Many Regulations if you go XC, especially at week days... • Marseille airport: TMA Provence 1 & TMA Provence 6 so that it is forbidden to fly aver 760m at the west of the mountain & 1400m at the south of the mountain.
