About this flying site

Presence of a quiet area for the protection of the Bonelli's eagle. This area does not apply to the site for local flight. It is located 5km from the takeoff, in the municipality of Gémenos, heading east.

Take-off

The take-offs are quite short but do not present any particular difficulties.

Access and parking

On the A501 motorway linking Marseille to Aix en Provence via Aubagne, exit at exit 7, join the big roundabout and take the D96 for about a hundred metres.

General orientation: East to South. Dangerous in North, NW and NE winds and in Westerly winds. Favourable with easterly, east-south-easterly, south-south-easterly and south-south winds.

Flight rules

A prefectoral decree regulates access to the Bouches du Rhône mountains during the summer period from 1 June to 30 September.
