Flat take-off facing east. Ok for preparing multiple winds but take-off one at the time.
The altitude difference with respect to the landing is small - just 100 meters. With a sea breeze present gaining the altitude is not a problem, but when it is week, there is very little time to find a thermal, otherwise - a bomb-out. The good news - it is very easy and quickly to get back to the take-off and try again,
Landing
Field below.
Please respect the farmers and try not to land in the middle of the cultivated field!
Access and parking
Easily accessible by car. Drive to San Marino, find a parking spot on the street and walk few minutes to the takeoff.
If you land below, there is a footpath taking you back practically to the takeoff. It takes approximately 10-15 minute walk.
Forecasts are planning aids, not safety clearance. Check current observations, official airspace and NOTAM information, local rules and your own experience before every flight.
