This takeoff place is one of the first and most popular takeoffs for free flyers in Slovenia. It is known very well in Europe. Hanggliders like it, because you can drive up very close to this place.
The official landing place is in the village Log, at the road Ajdovscina - Vipava. The landing place is two hundred meters West from Pizzeria Anja in the direction to Ajdovscina.
From Ajdovscina we drive for the village Col. After the church we must drive to the left and after cca three kilometres we come to village Gozd. After few hundreds meters we turn sharply to the left.
The flying rules on the area of the Ajdovscina airport and the landing rules on this territory. The paragliding in this area has some limits because of closeness to the airport Ajdovscina. We must respect the agreement with local airport.
