About this flying site

Foreign pilots, please try to fly safe. With accidents you're endangering our insurance policies.

Take-off

Takeoff is located on the hill above city Cerklje, on about 1300m asl. After about 25minutes of driving with your car you get almost to the takeoff. Usually there are couple of cars parked, and you can easily leave your car there. The takeoff is not that hard. If there is a W or S wind blowing you choose upper start, and if there's E wind you have to go to the lower start which is located about 200m lower. To both starts you can easily come with your car.

Landing

Landing is located on the foot of Grajski vrh hill, around which you drive when going onto takeoff. There are some wind socks on the landing so you know from which side to land.

Access and parking

Takeoff is located in the village called Grad. If you're coming from Brnik Airport, you go straight to Cerklje, and from Cerklje toward mountains. After about 500m, out from Cerklje you'll see on your left small church and on your right big sign with directions. You can go right there. After 500m you'll see the landing place. You can ask local folks there, and they'll know to tell you where to go.
