Overview

Arrabida is a flatland site in Portugal with a recorded launch elevation of 355 m. It works best in south-easterly, southerly and south-westerly winds. Pilots fly it for ridge soaring and thermal, using foot launch.

  • Being so close to Lisbon, it is very popular site for local and also visiting pilots, especially on weekends. One nice flight to do is reaching Troia beach across the river, in front of Setubal. Source: ParaglidingEarth
