About this flying site

Nice site with a lot of steps from the beach up to the dune should you drop out.

Take-off

Takeoff is a small sandy patch on the edge of a fairly high (dutch standards) dune, next to the KNVvL information Board. (see picture)

Landing

Landing is only allowed between what is called a 'Strandhoofd', in this case the most Northerly Strandhoofd is number 39.1 and most Southerly is 37. Land only between these 'Strandhoofd' (a Strandhoofd is line of wooden stakes running into the ocean for erosion control - the Info board is more clear on this)

Access and parking

Use your GPS and punch in the above mentioned coordinates. Park, and walk up the dune about 100- 200m depending how close you can get.

Local weather notes

Watch for incomming winds on the ocean if the weather prediction indicates this. Pay attention to flying restrictions.

Unrestricted Flying allowed between: 1 September and 15 June Restricted Flying between: 15 June and 1 September During restricted Flying season Flights may only take place after 18h00 until sunset!!
