From the top of Monte Crocione, or if want to walk some meters higher, also from Monte Tremezzo is OK.
Nearby Bellagio, so you have to cross the Como lake to get there, but it is possible with a good margin, unless you start low or face a moderate wind. The long but not so wide grass strip perpendicular to the peninsula.
The footpath starts from Tremezzo. You can either leave ther car at the beginning of the trail, and return by ferry afterwards, or leave it at Bellagio, and take ferry before going up the mountain.
Do no fly with Northern wind! In spring and summer thunderstorms can form very quickly.
