Montoso is a mountain site in the Italian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 1,267 m. It works best in south-easterly winds, and can also work in easterly and southerly winds. Pilots fly it for thermal, using foot launch.

Smooth Grass field, oriented to SE. how to get there: drive to the Montoso village, once you are up, park teh car on the right at the first parking lot, and walk 3-5 min towards "faro" (right with respect to the road when arriving).
The takeoff and landing sites have got an unrestricted access. There is a trail linking the landing and the takeoff, it gains 900 vertical meters, and typically takes 1,5-2h to complete.
