needless to say, check IF THE BEACH IS FULL of people sunbathing before taking off ;) LZ is out of view from TO, i had an unpleasant surprise when the beach came into view after i went airborne..

Take-off
On SP38 route after Soviore Sanctuary
Landing
On beaches: Monterosso, Levanto, etc. All beaches are out of sight on the takeoff!
Access and parking
Highway A12 exit Carrodano. To the left go for Monterosso. On SS370 before Monterosso descent turn to left on SP38, pass Soviore Sanctuary and less 1km after to right the takeoff
Local weather notes
Fly Only with sudeast, sud and sudwest winds. Pay attentention with strong east wind: takeoff is downwind. With east and sudeast winds soaring is possible on Punta Mesco peak. Sea breaze and good temperatures gradient can build thermals also in winter time with meteo downwind (max 20 Km/h). In Spring thermals are strongs and some XC are possible.
Flight rules
After First May and until 30 Sept landing on beaches are forbidden BUT beach are crowded also october and may...easter time...and mostly during weekend. Plus 25 April is national holiday in Italy
