Gemona - Mt.Cuarnan is a mountain site in the Italian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 1,170 m. It works best in southerly and south-westerly winds. Pilots fly it for ridge soaring and thermal, using foot launch.

New tarmac track to launch installed in summer 2012 making the site very accessible. HG launch (ramp) is different from PG launch and at a different location.
Not the easiest field to find visually, so take a GPS coordinate before you fly. That said, there are an abundance of places to land. Do not fly into the Class D airspace in the flats though.
