Several competition shave been held from this site and it also has several world records for distance and speed. XC towards East into Slovenia (Kobaridski Stol) and further is possible (and regularly done). Take-off

New tarmac track to launch installed in summer 2012 making the site very accessible. HG launch (ramp) is different from PG launch and at a different location.

Landing

Not the easiest field to find visually, so take a GPS coordinate before you fly. That said, there are an abundance of places to land. Do not fly into the Class D airspace in the flats though.

Take the shuttle bus, as the last part of the road can only be used with a special permit: http://www.vololiberofriuli.it/en/shuttle-service/ Shuttle to the launch site: 0039 348 6812138 Meeting Point: Ristorante 'Aghe Gole' (the former Bar 'STOP'), just North of LZ (5min walking).
