About this flying site

Strong west winds can be dangerous and prevent flying; if only light: possibly good flying conditions.

Take-off

There are two take off 200 m apart at the side of the road (access description below). Wind direction NE-E-SE. Generally take off in the morning, before the Ora wind from the South pick-up (generally in early afternoon).

Landing

The village is Caprino Veronese: 30 minutes by car from Verona. It is 10 minutes from Garda Lake (Garda) and 10 minutes from the Highway A 22 Brennero (Exit Affi)

Access and parking

Directions to the takoff: from Caprino Veronese (VR) follow the main road to Spiazzi di Caprino (20 minutes drive). Turn left and follow the sign to Malga Ime on a narrow mountain road (paved).
