EXPERIENCE: Experienced only. NOTES: Beach landing, which can be crowded in Summer. Best wind direction is E. See sites guide but turn left at take off during restricted times. check for rotor NE or SE. Life jackets are recommended. Check the tide - No beach = Do not fly!
Bottom landing on the beach although now work has been carried out January 2011 it is possible to top land or use the field behind take off.
Drive from Shanklin towards Luccombe and you will see the take off on your left Haddens Pit which is a National Trust site. Check restrictions on take off during the nesting season where you are not permitted to turn right on take off.
