Access and parking

GridReference : NT240225 WhatThreeWords: stickler.plod.vanished At road side close to bridge over Megget Water taking care not to block the gate. Road is a popular route for motorbikes so ensure parking does not obstruct visibility of bends. Getting there: A708 Selkirk to Moffat road via St Marys Loch

  • Power lines on upper side of road between take off and landing field
  • North face towards Megget Dam can be turbulent if wind is off
  • Midges in landing field can be murderous during June, July, August
