Your effort is well rewarded as the refuge is situated in a climbers paradise, at the foot of the Meije summits and in the middle of the glaciers. duration of climbing: 5h30 vertical: 1800m.

Access and parking

From 'Bourg d'oisans' or 'Brian�on' take the N91 road to 'La Grave'. Near 'La grave' village go to 'Villar D'ar�ne' and cross it. Stop your car at 'Le Pied du Col', near the 'brebis' bridge.
