About this flying site
Some crazy local granny hates paraglider pilots-they put a no parking sign in the place to park and she will shout at you saying that it is private, because she is a simpleton French mountain granny that stereotypically hates tourism and wants everyone to never visit France -what joy.
FFVL says to park in the town or on the side of the road.
-there is no-one flying here. Maybe in peak season when the ski lifts open at Thollon(July-August) the local pilots will be about, but otherwise give it a miss if you are on holiday, there are much better places to fly in the Region...
Take-off
Dangerous with strong E wind.
Landing
High voltage line near the road.
Don't land in the upper part of the field.
Land zone under the corn field.
Could be dangerous with NE Wind (look at the lake)
Forecasts are planning aids, not safety clearance. Check current observations, official airspace and NOTAM information, local rules and your own experience before every flight.
