About this flying site

beautiful XC with S or SW wind, to the north. High summit and deep valley before Chamrousse transition. Usualy higher thermals than in Chamrousse site or Courtet site, but stronger too ;-)

Take-off

grass mountain shield. From "Oris en ratier" take a track which goes in mountain, "Jas d'Oris", direction (Coirot summit). Stop in the last turn, before the shepherd house.

Landing

near the D114a road, between oris en ratier and La Valette. From Oris en Ratier, after a few km (1 or 2), landing on your right. Be careful of turbulences near the ground, in the valley.

Access and parking

From 'La Mure' take the D26 road to 'Sievoz'. In the village take on your left the D114a road, to 'oris en Ratier'. Another road, if you come from north: before 'La Mure' turn on your left, 'Nantes en Ratier' direction. cross the village and go to 'La Valette'. After this village turn to your right and go to 'Oris en Ratier'. warning: gravelroad closed all the winter until the 15th April. It seems to be closed from the 15th november, but not sure.
