big big great restitutions on summer evenings
wonderfull place for soaring after 5 pm in summer. we use to fly in a very big area till the night.
Take-off
North -also good with NW and NE.
Often there is a West component, so the TO is in the lee: watch the different windspies very closely, turn immediately left after launching.
To get there: 7 KM to TO:
From Luc-en-Diois follow direction Gap (south);
after the big rocks and the Drome river bridge, turn right (signs: 'site d'envol').
After 2 Km you will see a sign and an unpaved road on your left, follow it till the end.
Landing
from Luc-en-Diois:
follow direction Valence or Die (north),
after 1 km turn left at a big intersection with signs Poyols, la Motte Chalancon
after 500 m you will see a sign (vol libre) and turn left. park the car, walk 50m and you are on landing
