The takeoff is rather small (only one by one) but you can prepare your wings at the rear. If you land at the dyke, be careful: it's forbidden and dangerous to fly over the lake. The wind valley could be strong near the ground and you will land in the water...

if the south wind is too strong to come back in the dyke, go to 'la mirande' landing. It's on the 'la Rochette' road when you are in Allevard. It's on the border, after La Mirande's lake.

Access and parking

just near 'malatrait' takeoff. When you enter in the ski station (le Collet d'Allevard) take the road on your right, just after a white bilding. follow the road as far as the end.

Local weather notes

be careful of the gradient in 'la Mirande'. Sometime it's south wind on the takeoff but breeze direction on the landing area...
