About this flying site

verry good site with south wind in winter: a lot's of time in soaring! But be careful in the valley, the wind could be stronger.

Take-off

on the top of the ski station. go by car to 'super-collet' and take the chair lift (open in winter and July-august). takeoff on the grass, near the ski tow.

Landing

the dike or 'la Mirande' as you want.

Access and parking

Go to Allevard. In Allevard go to the ski station 'le Collet d'Allevard'.

Local weather notes

Don't go down in the little valley under the takeoff (veyton valley), you will have big difficult to go out. No landing :-) If you land at the dike, be careful: it's forbiden and dangerous to fly over the lake.
