About this flying site
More info on http://www.clubalbatros.ch if you read French
During the week (later afternoon) and in the weekends a minibus may operate that will take you from the LZ to takeoff for around 10 CHF. This bus is operated by the local club. Ask around.
Take-off
There is a ramp for hang gliders. Keep an eye out for the powerlines when you fly to the left.
Landing
Do not fly over the ranch to the North East!!
Do not park cars in the field or next to the road. Parking is just up to the North West on a big parking lot.
Access and parking
There is a large parking lot next to the old hotel. Use that and walk up the hill for the takeoff.
Local weather notes
Look for light "bise" (Easterly winds). Late afternoon the wind usually turns to the back so beware of that. Note the site has a weatherstation online and can be read through the "Wind Mobile" app.
Forecasts are planning aids, not safety clearance. Check current observations, official airspace and NOTAM information, local rules and your own experience before every flight.
