Summer: absolutely NO landing in Champex (even if the field looks inviting)!!! >> the landing field is situated in Orsieres. Can be seen from the east take-off. It's a wide field with hardly any obstacles.
From Verbier or Martigny, go to Sembrancher, then Orsieres and Champex. Take the chairlift going up La Breyaz mountain (2020:14CHF) 'Best' bus from Orsieres-station leaves at 0924; then you are ready to launch by approx 1030...
