Take-off

Easy large sloping grassy takeoff right next to the large white cross on the summit. Can handle S to W winds. Be careful of a small cable crossing the field just below the takeoff - but it is plainly visible.

Access and parking

Take the cable car from SE part of Dallenwil (town) up to Niederrickenbach (7 CHF includes 2 CHF landing charge.) From there follow hiking signs to Buochserhorn. It's a maximum 2 hr hike (approx 700m altitude gain). Route is quite obvious. Note that Buochserhorn faces south, and so the snow melts on this slope a lot earlier than surrounding hills. We managed to easily hike up this hill early April 2018 when other slopes at the same altitude still had meters of snow.
